RTE astound yet again

    I was watching the live election special tonight and couldn't believe the amount of technical screw ups - high even by RTE's normal standards.

    They make Albanian state tv look like CNN.

    Poor ol' Miriam looked exasperated at one point and you could almost hear her thinking "If that cow O'Leary can can a job with the BBC, then so can I!".

    Sky news ireland got an airing on the main UK channel tonight. However they could have given more coverage i e they could have announced each constituency vote as it came in. it would have only taken them a few minutes.

    Their coverage was a complete shambles.
    They kept on repeating the same few results over and over again instead on covering everything.
