Ohh if only i lived in america with their amazing cars and low* fuel prices.

    Ford Mustang GT
    4.6L SOHC V8 engine

Delivering an impressive 260 horsepower and 302 lb.-ft. of torque, this high-performer will satisfy your thirst for power. The single overhead cam design helps provide power output at a higher rpm and is designed for those who tend to push their vehicles to the limit

QuadraShock rear suspension and Traction-Lok rear axle
    245/45ZR17 performance tires
    Fog lamps

    Price 20,100 euros.

Because Ireland is the land of the mundane and un-interesting. People here would rather have a focus; fun, interesting cars are frowned upon here :dunno:

It wouldnt make a difference if they did sell it here and you had the money, youd have to be 60 and have 45 years ncb to get insured in it anyway.

Because irish people arent going to pay for a 6 litre monster SUV that takes a gallon of petrol "gas" lol to move 100ft down the road and there is no need for them over here we are more practical than our us friends

I'd say its cos ever since the 1970's every irish government has seen the motorist as a soft touch to raise billions in tax revenue at every opportunity on every aspect of motoring and cos young lads who would buy this car have to get a mortgage to insure it. I also blame the brits cos if they don't demand cars like this, then little Eire is never going to get it either!

I'd say it's because we choose cars that are actually good, instead of yank tanks. RX-8's exist, STi's too! Your average American Ford Focus driver can't afford a Mustang either.

    Terrible car.
Rented a ford mustang convertable for a week in LA.
Brutal interior. Massive engine, way too big for the chassis. It bends the car to bits under acceleration. Which is good, but not amazing.
Handling would kill most european drivers. It tries to flip every time you take a corner.

Regretted not getting a Mistubishi Eclipse. No idea what thats like. But it had to be better than the damn mustang.
