there is an MPx220 (if that's the one you were looking at?) which is an Microsoft Smartphone handset by Motorola - nothing official just yet... but the handset has been rumoured and leaked for months now with the latest from a site claiming they have the leaked press release...

more recently a lot of details have come to light about the handset including a video that was posted on the web then a a (p)review of the handset

definite would need an official release from Motorola, but 'this summer' is being repeated around the various sites interested in these matters...

its a good phone for the budget concious...cam/mp3/mms/polyphonic/ not bad!

oops sorry about that - saw the Motorola MPx220 mentioned on www.phonescoop.com earlier so thought you were talking about it as there was a bit of a buzz about it today

wouldn't know a definite date on the V220 myself, just bear in mind if the handset is only made available by Motorola in the summer there can be a lead time before an operator may offer it on their network... there is a pre-order for it on expansys but no price/date info which means they have no ETA
