Smoking ban.

So what does everyone think?

It does not appear to be the roaring failure that lots of people thought it was going to be.

Does anyone has any enforcement horror stories?

What about old men who have been smoking in pubs for years and had to go outside and then died ftom hypothermia?

I must confess I was strongly against it initially but am very impressed at the way it has worked out. Still, it will be interesting to see how it works in the depths of winter, but so far a big thumbs up!

The only thing i have against the smoking ban is now the pubs smell of old men and FARTS. Christ i was in Sprit the wkend and some FCUKER kept farting and my god they were bad, at least when ppl were smoking the place didn't smell that bad

So.......... if your olfactory senses are that offended, why not petition the Minister For Correctness Martin to ban "OLD MEN AND FARTS" from pubs. I'm sure our fascist Minister would lend a sympathetic ear to your bleatings.

FFS, will yiz not be so precious and righteous, and demonstrate some of the "liberalism" that you are so fond of boasting about when it comes to other issues.

smoke in the pub but what.A bout job like mineing you can not get a way from the dust. so you were a dust mask. LIKE ALL JOBS THERE allway a risk. a car back fires.
if you happen to be behind the car i have heared its like breath in a 1000, cigs' were do you go to avoid the smoke . as a kid my father =mother smoked they use to take use up stair on the bus we would be sick later on and have a sore throat
i smoke and i know you can get help too stop if you wish.
Passive smoking that a laugh i would like too see smokeing band all together every were.THEN PEOPLE LIKE ME would have too stop.I respect people who don,t wish too smoke but to blame every con plaint on passive smoking. please look a round you car =airoplanes lorrys trains .
