    Folks,

    Some of you may notice the google ads at the top of our forum. The way they work is to target the forum's audience with suitable ads, a neat trick imho. For me they've pretty much advertised Discussion Board Software and the likes but lately theres been online scuba sites advertised. Has anybody used one of these sites or even browsed them? I'm just wondering what the sites are like (I'm having a look now).

    p.s. This isn't part of a "Get rid of teh google ads" campaign, I'm just wondering if they've worked out well.

    Its a neat idea alright, and seems to work to a certain degree, e.g. there are ads for scuba stores when browsing the forum, although they all seem to be for sites in the US.

    Thats true.... a lot of them are US sites which doesn't help me out all that much.

    Saying that firststage diving seem to have an add up there a fair bit... but that website is brutal anyway....

    All said and done.... its better to have them than not have them.... someday they might produce something useful... until then i'll just ignore them.
