Help needed, can't receive mms on ngage

    I have a problem with A Nokia Ngage on o2 Speakeasy, I can’t receive multi media messages, but can send them, also can connect to the internet etc with it , all works fine apart from receiving mms, I got the settings below sent to me by text message from o2, so I assume they must be correct, also I have rung them to activate mms and gprs , anyone have any ideas? Any N-Gage users on o2 speakeasy confirm the settings below are correct please, save me ringing the helpline at o2, thanks very much for any help offered.

    Access Point
    Connection name- 02 mms prepay,
    Data bearer - Gprs,
    Access Point name - pp.wap.o2.ie,
    User name - user,
    Prompt Password – no
    Password ****
    Authentication - secure
    Gateway ip address - 192.168.90.74
    Home page http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8000
    Connection security – off
    Session mode – Permanent

    GPRS

    GPRS Connection – when Available

    Access Point – o2 Prepaid GPRS

    I've never had an n gage but the problem might be that if your sending the mms message from an 085 (meteor) phone and I don't think it will work as only vodafone and o2 work ok but meteor are out of the picture on this one :D .......

    085 to 085 mms is ok anyway and 087 to 086 and 086 to 087 mms work ok aswell !

    But then again I could be wrong :dunno:

    hi, for the MMS homepage try (note 8002 not 8000):
    Home page: http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002

    (and just to check that those comma's you have after each line aren't actually entered into the handset's settings)

    plus make sure you have the correct Access Point selected for the 'Preferred Connection' in the:
    Messaging > Options > Settings > Multimedia message settings

    if that doesn't work out you may have to ask if they will reprovision you for these services, as outlined in this thread

    thanks for the suggestions, had to ring them up and the re did whatever it is they do, and now im in business,
