OK i'm kinda stuck here so i thought i'd ask you guys,

I have some adware on my machine
It has changed my homepage to Blank , but it has overwritten the blank page.
I have ran several adware removal programs and they do find some,
however none of them seem to remove it.
the programs i've ran so far are :

    Bulletproof Adware
    Spy-bot
    pestpatrol
    Spyhunter

my question is does any1 know of a program that will remove the adware and all files related to it , as it seems to reinstall itself once i reboot. :(

    Try Lavasoft Ad-Aware
Be sure to update the scan engine after you install it...

Also try HijackThis and RegCleaner but be careful with both as they mess around with your registry!!

make sure that you dont have any browsers open (check for the iexplore.exe process etc)
if you have your browser open when you run these removal apps they cant remove in-use dlls and then the dll just re-infects your reg, homepage etc.

    these guys are decent :Merijin

they've a good set of removal tools (they make hijackthis) . try their tool =cwshredder - its helped me a few times.

as redoxan said, make sure to have *all* browsers closed. for the best cure, stop using IE - other browsers fall victim to these spywares less frequently

ps - what sites does your adware relocate to - what are the names of any toolbars/etc it installs ?

    it hasn't installed any toolbars,

the homepage is set to Abou:blank , which is a simple .html file that comes with windows, however that has been overwritten with a stupid search page ... the links of which go off to some site ( i havent' clicked on any of them in fear of getting yet more adware)

i'll try some of the stuff when i get home.

    Thanks alot guys ...:D

    wub u all ;P

if you do a google for any of the prominent links titles with the word "spyware" or similar, you might find a few pages discussing whatever bot it is.

    might be a help

ok ran most of the program's last night on my system ...
it did find a few , seemed to remove them. But it didn't
it's still there. Any page i go to load or close down now will bring a Pop Up.
I did the Microsoft security update and MSN won't work now , and either will Gamevoice.

And there is no need to format it because you have some spyware on it :D that is just giving in to it

yeah - we need more input. do you have *any* names, etc. of the links/ sites/ other involved?

its just a matter of finding out what spyware it is...

make sure you're using spybot 1.3 as 1.2 no longer updates to remove newer spyware.

whats with the new version of spybot - it looks like they're making a stab at doing a sellable version of it.

more power to them to try, but i wonder if it's still dedicated to "the most wonderful girl on earth" :)

another really useful tool is Spywareblaster from here
    http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html
if you`ve got a clean system it keeps it like that and it`s
    regularly updated

Ah, that's just a simple little browser Hijacker.

Run HijackThis, and you should be able to remove the blighter, just be carefull not to remove anything you might need.

    Post the hijack this logs
