rail travel around germany

    Ive heard of Eurorail and Europass which is the cheapest and is there other ones? Im looking for unlimited travel in Germany for around a week.

    You'll also get very cheap journeys on the fast trains if you are willing to travel in the evenings (possibly after 7pm - can't remember properly) without buying any cards.

    Also weekend travel on the slower trains is a bargain if you get a weekend ticket...

    i found a lot of info on the bahn website but i cant find anywhere that sells the eurail unlimited 4 day passes to european residents, they are only for non europeans...
