Glad to see 'Family Guy' in the lead. Simpsons would have had a shot, had not the last five years see it excrete the biggest load of tosh. FG, by virtue of being killed off, never degraded like Homer & Co. It may yet in the new season but, for now, FG rules the loft.

Simpsons did a lot for the genre, and obviously went a long ways to inspiring the creation of the other two, as well as bringing about the right circumstances for their creation in terms of credibility for that type of series, and showing adults that cartoons could be good for them to. However, I'll still pick Family Guy, as it's a much better series as far as I'm concerned than even Simpsons was even at its height. Now that Simpsons is as bad as it currently is, it has no hope of winning for me, and Futurama was a brilliant series at times (execu-bots anyone) but it was also fairly "bleh" at times as well, whereas every Family Guy episode EVER has been an instant classic and filled with genius. Also, Family Guy has Brian and Stewie, which is instant win, win in all fairness

Anyone who says the simpsons hasnt seen a full episode of family guy, cos its 1000 times funnier, and tbh cos of the last 5 years of the simpsons i actually think futurama is better then the simpsons.

I really like Family Guy, but I voted Simpsons because it's been running successfully for over a decade... if Family Guy makes it that long, I'll come back and change my vote.
Also I've seen some jokes in Family Guy that were done before in The Simpsons.... (<southpark quote> simpsons did it)

Family Guy. Probably is better now than even the old Simpsons are. 5 or so years ago, the Simpsons was on top of the world there was nothing else like it, and there was nothing funnier. Comedy however is liquid, it's moved on since then. Family Guy is the natural progression. It's just a little more so than the simpsons, that's why it gets my vote. I have all 3 seasons on DVD and they're all funny every single time I watch them. That's not even mentioning the new simpsons...

Family Guy. It's possibly the only TV show that ever has me in stitches. There is some genius in the writers behind this show.

The Simpsons used to be an utterly excellent show, but over the last six years or so that reputation has tarnished. The last few seasons have just been awful and cringeworthy.

The idea of Family Guy beating The Simpsons is ridiculous. I know The Simpsons has gone down in recent seasons but there's too many golden moments there for it to be beaten by anything. Homer pisses all over Stewie and co. tbh.

South Park comes in at a close second for me.

Futurama is quite fantastic and only really started to come into itself in the 3rd and 4th series. Pity it was cancelled after the 4th.

Not sure what is the best. Would Family Guy or Futurama ever had happened if ti wasent for the Simpsons? Simpsons mearly created the genore

Simpsons has sooooo many VERY funny quotes but family guy has more.
There wa sonly 1 episode of futerama i lauged none stop at for the whole episode and that was "where no fan has gone before" Best Futerama episode - infact i think ill watch it now.
