i can't seem to find any info on what the height restriction is for dublin. I was wondering why we don't have skyrise apartments in the city and i was told that there is a height restriction on the size of a building anyone know what it is and why we have it?

    building: Liberty Hall

reason: misconception that tall buildings are ugly !?

It's largely down to context - if there are existing tall buildings, you are more likely to get PP for a tall building, e.g. at Grand Canal Dock. Having good public transport will also help.

It's all set out in the city Development Plan (under review). http://www.dublincity.ie/services/splafrm.htm
