people who buy from dell,compaq ect will get a oem copy most home users buy from a company like that

most people in business will have paid for a legal copy as its risky for a business to use pirate copies

there you go thats the kind of people that pay for win xp

if windows wasnt so easy to pirate it wouldnt be as popular as it is now

true. if home lusers had to pay for their windows there'd be more Free/OS op sys's on desktops...
