Does anyone know where windows stores the boot screen? The screen that says "Windows XP" or whatever it says when booting up? I installed some program and its changed my boot up screen to something terrible, and i want to be able to change it back. Can anyone help?

    http://www.themexp.org/how_install.php

that should give you all the info you need

(scroll down to the 'boot screen' section)
you'll prolly need to find a backup of the original boot screen, or something to replace it with.
there's a chance that the program you used made a backup beforehand
