XP Machine wont go into standby

Morning all, Tried to put my pc into standby for the first time ever lastnight but all that happens is that xp goes to its "preparing to standby" screen and the whole machine just locks up at that screen. Like i said I have never sent this machine into standby before so im kinda lost. Xp pro SP1 P4 Abit is7 mobo Any ideas?…

Morning all,

Any ideas?

Make sure your motherboard is enabled to allow it to go to standby.

Also, make sure you've enough RAM in your PC.

Have 512mb ram.
Will have to check the bios when i get home.
