Lost Other Channels

    I went to my Other Channels yesterday, and found that they were all gone....disappeared...anybody else have tis problem.........I guess I will have to tune all in again:mad:

    Yes, you will have to retune them again. Its a common problem if you have more than 40 stored. It says you can store 50, but for some reason, when you store more than 40, it can wipe them all. :dunno:

    Stupid sky :mad: Why don't they let you add 40+ channels? You should be able to tune in (or out) as many channels as you want, and re-arrange them.

    If you want to keep people locked in to your monopoly there are a few other things you shouldn't do like upgrade the software to provide features like

    - hopping between channels without three button presses (guess it's so you don't try to skip the adds)
    - Being able to hide channels you can't see
    - Being able to hide channels you don't want to see
    - Auto scan for new channels so you could use the digibox on other satelites

    PS. can't other channels also get wiped by a software upgrade.

    Yeah, apparently many (newer) digiboxes forget their other channel details after a software download/upgrade.
