Yah he played well ,RVN didnt do much ,didnt hold the ball up lost out on most aerials.

Well I think barring the greatest slipup since rosie odonnel stood on a bannana skin that game is over :)

Would have liked to see Milwall win it but for the reason of beating united! It would have been good for the lower divisions to show them that on the day they can compete with the best and win.

[troll]RVN was blatantly offside more referee favouritism ;)[/troll]

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 553 ✭✭✭phenom

He died in a car crash a few months ago he was a young striker .

The panel on BBC have gone over Ruud's goal and found it was just onside. End of story.

No way. Clean tackle won ball fair. Ifill didn't even protest. Utd deserved it to be honest. Possibly could've had a peno in 1st half too for Wise's ****.

Davis was Jimmy Davis a Utd reserve striker who died earlier this season in a car crash while on loan at Watford. Roy Keane's idea to honour him apparently

    Well done teh bhoys :D

Great to see Henrik going out with a Bang with 2 lovely goals, I wish him all the best wherever he goes.

In the FA cup however, I felt sorry for Millwall after playing so well in the first half, but they just didn't have the presence up front to really challenge the utd goal.

Well done utd though, well deserved. Ronaldo was excellent.

Fair play to United today, didnt see the match myself, thank god:dunno: ;)

Lots of pressure on them to finish with a trophy. Who was Man of the Match by the way?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

RVN was MOM but apparantly Ronaldo deserved it. I saw a few of his tricks on the highlights, pure class.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

What ya didn't see was the lack of end product on the tricks in the second half.

I thought Giggs or Slyvestre were man of the match, with RVN a close third

He was a youth player who got killed in a car crash at the start of the season

Yeah he should’ve been without a shadow of a doubt! He’s definitely gonna be one to watch next year!

But surprise surprise, SGE was the one that got to pick MOM, and me thinks he’s got a bit of a hard-on for RVN because he picked him for his player of the year a few months back.

Bit of a sh1te match tbh, I don’t think Millwall were too bothered about getting out of their own half at all!

    B.

*edit - Changed Willwall to Millwall..........

It wasnt the best final but delighted man united won it. I really dont know what match Sven was watching? RVN is a great player but was missing for most of the match he musten of been watching Ronaldo cause he was brilliant. i had my doubts about him when fergie paid £12million for a 18 year old but he is going to be a brilliant player in the seasons ahead.
