'Tru Calling' gets second series

    Fox renewed Tru Calling, the supernatural series starring Eliza Dushku, for a second season, Variety reported. The series has struggled in the ratings and was considered "on the bubble," meaning its fate was in doubt.

    Tru Calling centers on a woman (Dushku) who relives days at the request of dead people who seek her help. Fox will make its full schedule presentation to advertisers on May 20.

    Blewgh, and they probably won't pick up Point Pleasant and/or cancel it within 2 weeks. FOX are dumb. :mad:

    I hope 'Survivor: Vanuatu' and 'The Mountain' kick Tru & Joey's asses respectively Thursday @ 8pm this fall :D

    Maybe Tru Calling will improve once
    Meredith is gone to rehab, and Jason Priestly shows up as the evil day-repeater under Tru's dad influence @ the end of the season
    but it's decidely crap now. Apparently there's new writers who will make it darker and more interesting next season, but we'll have to wait and see I s'pose!

    As for 'Joey', I can't see how it'll be any good...
