Hopefully this isn't too stupid a question but I am new to this so here it goes.
I life in kerry and have just moved into a new house.. I am receiving the regular tv channels with rabbit ears.
I am going to purchase an aerial and am wondering what type to get so that I can pick up the rte, tv3, I am not interested in Sky. When purchasing the aerial is there any special type of cable that I should get or is it just regular tv cable.

Yes good quality aerial cable is very important. A lot of the junk sold in hardware shops has very poor screening and high loss

CT100 is good CT125 is better
