I am just back from the US,two weeks ago I was due to fly out with US Airways to Philadelphia and then on to Orlando,we were just about to be pushed back and some clown on the ground crashed into the plane so off we got and it turned out we would have to watie ontill the next day for a flight.

Now the Airline were grand and I understand it was not there fault, they put us up in a hotel in Dublin Airport (even me and I live only 10min from the airport) and the next day we were of but I am woundering if I can clame through my travel insurance and if so would it be worth the hassle,as after all I did miss out on a day in Orlando and I had a hotel, car etc etc so I was down a fair few $.

Call your travel insurance people. What you get differs from policy to policy. They're the best people to advise you.
