First off, does anyone have any recommendations for cases for a new ipod to keep it nice and shiney?

Secondly, i was thinking of getting an itrip but have heard of reception problems in cities. So does anyone have any experience with them in Dublin and would you advise getting one, bearing in mind a tape adapter is not an option due to car cd players. I searched around boards a good bit about this but couldn't find a definite answer on this.

    Cheers,

    Hydro

iTrip reception in Dublin is generally good... It's not perfect when you're driving around but it's the best FM transmitter available for the ipod. It seems to depend on your car stereo and the position of your antenna..

I'm happy with mine and would recommend it.. (although I mostly use it at home).

I like the official leather carry case you get on the Apple site, around 35 euro. I thought the black case wouldn't compliment the iPod, but it looks really well, and free from smudges/scratches.

Yep its good enough. I got a iSkin Evo and tbh it wasn't great. Their are too thick. Put it in your pocket, remove it to find the contents (Dust etc) on your iPod......

Might take a look at the Apple Leather one though......
