Programming salary survey

    I see that article about Salaries is still doing the rounds. Though now we see that salaries are lower in the north and that the survey was done by a company promoting new business in the north. Surprising not.

    From what I'm seeing you get more money in the north and the UK than in the south. 44K average for a junior programmer in the south. That would mean that some are on less than 44 and some on more than 44. How realistic is that!

    Note the Indian salaries. Junior programmer making €4,800 and a graduate programmer bringing in €2,269. Some gap between that and 44K. That means you could have about 15 indian programmers for the price of one Irish one.
