Dual Layer DVD-RW

Why not just get a 2500A and flash in the 2510 firmware? They are built using the same hardware, so therefore the 2500A is perfectly capable of burning dual layer discs, and preliminary testing seems to support that idea.

its damn cheap aswell! i got mine for 85euro. Anyway, dual layer media is gonna cost an arm and both legs to get, and at the moment its impossible to lay hands on it. No point in buying a dual layer burner now.
