    Hello,
I ordered a DJ package on saturday with a credit card online, everything went fine, Ive ordered loads of things online before on other sites and i always get an email to confirm everything is fine, its now wed and i didnt get an email, no money has come from my credit card and ive tried to email them and heard nothing, ive then rang each number they give on the site, and i just get an ingaged tone?

    Whats the story?

    Is this normal?

Ring the irish bloke on their website and get him to sort it out:

    Damian Edwards

    Ireland

    00353-74-
    9734887

    email:
    damianedwards@eircom.net

I usually deal with a guy called Jens Olbrich (according to their catalogue is responsible for all irish orders) but to be honest the last time I ordered he pissed me off with not calling back or answering emails promptly. So I'd try this other lad, you have his mobile, that's enough to piss him off in the cinema at least :)

Their phone system is fucked, I rarely get through to a direct number. Their main desk number isn't on the website, but is on the invoice for whatever reason:

    0049-221-925791-0

If the guy says ring the direct number tell him it's broken (or that no one ever answers direct calls). They all speak english so don't worry about konnen Sie auf Englisch sprechen bitte, or whatever.

    Rob

(p.s. they are okay to deal with once you can get a hold of one, but it used not be so difficult. More than likely whatever you have ordered isn't 'on stock', you can check that on the web catalogue ... look for ... 'on stock')

what a poor company to deal with, cant speak to anyone, the thing i ordered is now out of stock and it was in stock when i placed the order.

    I think ill just cancel.

    They just lost E1000, muppets.

Ok, they have redeemed themselves somewhat, i actually got an email today explaining all, when they dont have an item in stock and it is ordered by someone they dont do anything till its in stock, because the site says if something is in stock or not. fair enough.

Ive ordered 2 x Numark TT 200 decks.

any one have any experience with these?

Some thing you should check with them, they have started charging the irish vat on goods being sent here, this is the correct thing to do, but they used to charge the german 16% rate which gave a nice little reduction on the prices thomann have.

I doubt this is noted on their website so when you speak to them get a confirmation of the total price, it will only be a few euro extra but you might be a bit pissed off if you thought it would only cost the price on the website + delivery.

I am painting them in a pretty bad light! There prices are amazing compared to Dublin as you know and they ship everything with UPS who are the best. Plus you can turf shed loads of gear into an order before they need to charge you more than the flat delivery rate. I think they are a mail order company turned interweb shop and that is why the web side is a bit shody. I haven't a clue why their direct telephone lines don't work though! I really recommend calling the central number and asking for sales as talking to someone is a lot easier.

I received an email confirming the order and it has the 16% tax on it.

    Sweet.

They are very very cheap but their after sales service is absolutly terrible. I ordered a few cymbals off them almost a month ago and one of them was incorrect, they sent 2 16" crashes instead of 1 and a 20" ride. I have given up on Emailing them now its been so long without reply

Ye, i have not heard anything from them since that email, ive left messages on the number you gave me but i fear the worst.

    Typical.

Ill let you know what happens.

How long after you placed the order did you get them?
Did you order via the site?

It will drive me crazy to wait a month for them, a shop in town has them but they are €50 more expensive per deck.
