Grantsdale BTX - PCI Express

    Right, I have been holding off for a while now and my PC is creeking a bit. Single channel memory with a 2.4b P4 (at 3.17) 845PE Chipset.

    I am going to upgrade when the new BTX motherboards come out.

    Will the first Grantsdale mobos be BTX and will they have socket 775 / PCI Express? Anyone know yet?

    Also has anyone heard any dates for releases? I have heard rumours of May, but nothing concrete..

    Afaik they'll be ATX, and will be PCI Express 16x and 1x with a few 32-bit PCI slots, but no AGP.

    Also, BTX is not a particularly good form factor.
    Your graphics card will get the heat from the CPU dumped onto it.
