Yes ....Apparently We are about to get saturated by even more simpsons on a differasnt channel.... Will the over kill ever end.

    simspons on C4
The Simpsons will take over from Friends in Channel 4's 9pm slot on Fridays, The Guardian reports today.

Sex and the City, Fraiser and Friends are all ending this season, leaving a gaping whole in C4's normally reliable lineup.

Now the network is planning to put faith in new episodes of The Simpsons - which it acquired at a cost of $1m per episode - by putting them at the centre of Friday nights.

Repeats from earlier series of the show will occupy the 6pm slot each weekday in a partnership with C4's flagship teen drama Hollyoaks.

C4 will get the rights to the cartoon series from BBC Two this November.

even more simpsons on a differasnt channel....

Well it's not "more". BBC2 will no longer have the rights to show The Simpsons as Channel 4 now has them.

    Apologies for the spelling mistake.

I was not aware of the BuffyBot.

Ah now, I don't know why you're complaining. Friends is a show well past its sell-by date, a show that was funny once but hasn't been in over four years. Whereas the Simpsons, er, hmmm, ...

As far as I remember C4 paid for the terrestrial premieres of seasons 7 and 8 or something like that so for those in terrestrial-only land, it may be the first time they've seen them. They made a big deal of it before Christmas so apart from the allocated slot, it isn't really news from the Guardian.

OMFG they need to kill this show now, they made a good start by killing Friends but the simpsons needs to come to a end now.
This show has been run so far into the ground that its gone through it

its ridiculous, someone need to send matt groening a letter telling him how ****ty his show is now. Bring back family guy and futurama. Simpsons has run its course......end it.

Does sky one still have right to it....as well as C4?

Yup. Sky still have the satellite broadcasting rights, which means new episodes will air first there.
