no, i doubt buying another budget card will solve anything

Wait about 2 weeks or so, and prices will drop since the new cards by ATI and Nvidia are coming on-stream.

Then buy (at the very minium) an ATI 9800Pro. Its a bit costly, but worth it. And the cost should drop soon.

i was just wondering really which is better ? 9200se or fx 5200 :D, im getting the 9200se for 40 euros "which is nice"

yeah, its cheap, but not great at ALL. New games it will struggle with hugely.

Save your 40 eur, and wait for prices to drop and get a good card that'll last 2 years

the 9200 is a crippled DX8 card and the SE is extra crippled.

In about 4 weeks you'll be able to get a 9600 at budget prices. Wait.

Since you mentioned the 9600, i should point out that the SE in 9600SE stands for **** edition. I did some reading up on it, and the SE is the biggest pile of crap ever.

the 9600pro is a fair bit better (about 30% or more i think, can't remember exactly), and the bog standard 9600 is better than the 9600SE.

over at www.overclockers.co.uk forums there are rumors going around that the 9800pro will be on special offer at around 99 pounds to meake way for the new stock of cards coming

i can't wait til they update their site tonight

Perfectly? Is in nice big resolution, 6xAA and 8x Anisotropic filtering? Quality optimisations.

With my 9600pro i had trouble with Morrowind with those settings and 1024x768 resolution! It ran slowly.

Yea like the guys are saying the very minium upgrade to notice any difference would be a 9600 (probably pro TBH). All your going to do is waste €40 on another pile of crap, and have 2 weak cards.

Big things happening in the GFX card world, big games comming out also (HL2 & Doom3) . If you want to play them at some sorta decent settings then wait until you can get a decent card ....... or else just stick with the 5200 and go to the pub for a while :)
