i was wondering if there was a tool the would connect to a certain server and download updates/patches [windows update and driver updates etc] and then clients on the internal netwok would conect to the internal server automaticaly and download the updates. saving internet bandwith, i assuming there is somthing like this to save the big companys/organisations bandwith.any ideas?

I dunno. I tried it out SUS before. Could never get it to work. Active Directory is a load of cack. Then again I didn't set up the network, and it was a bit of a mess - so bad that most people were logging into their local machine rather than using a network login. That was part of the problem. Thats what you get from untrained / MS admins I guess.
