ok i have two drives on my computer

raptor 36gig houses Win xp pro

    120gig ibm drive

i used the 120gig to store everything on the format and i redirected my "my doc's" folder to be housed on the D:\ IBM drive.

(by using right click my doc's icon properties "Target")

now after formatting the C:\ drive windows xp install

it says that the my documents on the D:\ is write protected and acess is denied??

i looked at the properties of the file and it says 0bytes so i guess the data is lost. (i can live with it)

but how do i delete the "my doc's folder on the D:\ drive so i can start a start "My doc's" on it

    k here it goes

boot into safe mode (F8 while starting up)

    >>log in as administrator

    >>located the my documents folder.

    >>rightclicked and selected properties

    >>security tab

    >>advanced

and from there u can set what users have access to the files
