Porn on The Wrestling Channel...

Last night, around 12:30, Hollywood Tv cut across to the Wrestling Channel. At that time of night, Hollywood Tv broadcasts Babestation 2, which is a text service soft core porn channel.

Ive seen Babestation before, and I dont have a problem with it, but the last thing I wanna see when Im in the mood to watch NOAH is 2 blond brain dead tarts slagging wrestling.

Some viewers texted in to ask what had happened to the channel and why there was no wrestling being telivised. In the most idiotic of responces, these, more then likely crack whores, which arent exactly attractive, insult wrestling fans, call them gay, and then offer to wrestle if some sad little 12 year olds text about 20 times.

In a word, it sucked. I hope this does not happen every night. Anyone else see this?

I saw that too and it anoyed the hell out of me cus it was the first time in a couple weeks id had a chance to watch TNA. It was right in the middle of the show aswell.

this had to happen sooner or later, basically any digital channel that is not owned/funed by Sky, MTV/Viacom or Emap has some sort of sex txt service or shopping junk to bring in much needed revenue after midnight when viewing figures are very low anyway. Quite often this is what funds these channels theres no way around it unless it goes subscription. It is sad because now TWC only has very limited time to show uncensored stuff.

At least it will mean TWC will be cemented for a good while now. They could have at least put another sort of Babe text thing on, instead of repeating one.

Will Friendly Tv and TWCs ratings be split regardless? Or will it depend on what channel you are watching (208 or 432) Cant say Im over joyed about this! Especially at the moment with wrestling trying to play down the T and A, and in the middle of the Rob Feinstein controversy. It will give TWC a bad name.

this happened to me too. i pressed on expecting wrestling but seen women talking about sex, and then they said we will wrestling naked if we get 20 txts. i couldnt stop laughing. that was taking women wrestling to a new low.

I have to say its a shame that in a couple of months there will be no wrestling channel on sky, I feared from the very beginning that it was a loss making venture, abd if theyve had to turn to slutcast to get revenue then the mainstay of the channel namely wrestling is just not making them money.

Wrestling while having a loyal hardcore fanbase (me included), it just has to small a viewership to sustain a whole channel to itself

Shame really as i enjoyed TNA ROH MLW etc

It's nothing to do with the fanbase. They don't make money from people watching at home, they make money from advertising, and right now they're just attracting advertisers.

although it is really annoying i have to say that it will be good for twc in the long run.They have sponsorship from the sun(spits) and now revenue coming in from babestatiopn or whomever runs it.This will mean that financially twc will survive so we shouldnt be too unhappy about it.
The point about wrestling distancing itself from t and a because of rob from ROH,i dont see that as a problem as the majority of people in Ireland and the uk do not know about the internet thing regarding him and little kids.

Yeah it's well annoying. Its funny how the have to ruin the Wrestling Channel by putting that crap on, when the same thing is on like 3 other channels as well. I dont see the point in it
