    Hi people

I've spent just under a year travelling and in a month or so will be returning to the Emerald Isle and back to work (I hope). *sob*sob* :(

When I left the market for software developers wasn't the best, it seems to have picked up - going by the job sites. Is this the case?

FYI: I have about 3 years solid post graduate experience, C/C++ and Java on mainly unix platforms.

I haven't seen much difference to be honest.

I would say unless you have min of 5-10 yrs of fairly high end experience don't bother.

Well that is fuppin depressing, all those those listings on irishjobs.ie and recruitireland.com had gotten my hopes up a wee bit.

Ahh well it ain't like I have a choice... at least there is the dole at home....!
