I'd be interested to know if anyone had a similar experience..??

I Suffered from acne alot from about 17 till 23, at 27 I still have to be careful as I get still breakouts.

Here's the thing, I'm another guy who finds it v difficult to gain weight. Was using "promax" protein powder and I *definitely* saw results in muscle weight gain BUT it totally freaked my skin out & I had to stop - all the acne cleared up 2 weeks after I stopped it.

Anyone have a similar exp..? And I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion whether it was the *brand* of protein powder or just the fact *I* dont agree with large amounts of protein in my body like that ..?? I'm pretty reluctant to try any other protein drink as i do NOT want to risk that happening again.

I have found that aloe vera drink is the only answer to acne. I had problems as a young 'un and, like yourself, had intermittent breakouts later on. All to do, I realised, with diet. Processed food and typical Irish fare was and is the root of the problem. I swear that drink is the most amazing difference I have ever encountered with skin. It's available in all health (tree hugging, whale saving, Dukakis loving, moon-unit) stores at approx. €15.00

I have never used protein drinks as I always imagined steak tasted better. But it seems to me, if I'm not being too forward, that not being able to put on weight would be a bonus. Nowadays I look like someone replaced my upper body with a,huge, three dimensional number eight.

Hope I've been of some help, good luck with the training.
