    What are they like?
    How long would you be waiting at St.James' hosptial, anyone ever been?What's the best day to go?
    How long will it take for results to get back?
    No itches or scratches just heard a radio discussion and as a 21 year old male mite be advised to head along...

    Hey,

    I went to James's.

    They said I would have to wait 4 weeks before they would add me to the list, but I told them I might have an STD so they made an appointment for me for the next day.

    You need to take an entire day off work/college as you will be in the waiting room ALL DAY. So bring a book. Also, they place will be packed.

    It takes two weeks for your results.

    It's a highly depressing experience...

    If you're in urgent need of a screening/treatment they probably will bump you up the list, but the wait is usualyy 4-6 weeks, you should get screened 1-2 times per year if you are sexually active.

    The wait is terribly long but they are very nice there. (St James)
