    Bill Hicks.

    That is all.

(heard he got voted only #19 on some recent 'worlds best' poll - which I find mildly offensive.)

anyone remember a comedian named Phil Kay? He had a show about five years ago on channel4 and network 2 called "Phil Kay feels..." thought he was very good in that and i saw him live and wasn't disappointed either.

Seriously michaelanthony Deirdre O' Kane?????? She's got to be the least funny of all people never mind comedians.

Pat short wouldn't get a vote from me either, not proven as a solo preformer yet.

Tommy Tiernan would definately make my list and i imagine would make pretty much anyone's list.

Rich Hall's earlier material is alot better than his new stuff which is one of the reasons he's mentioned very rarely thus far i guess.

David O'Doherty is a very good comedian and has definately got a future on the circut, but he's still relatively new on the scene.

Jerry Seinfield is a legend thus is on my list

Chris Rock is very good, except when he over states his accent and becomes almost incomprehendable.

Don't like the way Dara O'Brian ends every joke by drowning out the audience with a loud "Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh" (watch for it next time u see him,u'll notice it immediately if u haven't done already)

Could keep commenting but i'm a little tired and have gone on for long enough

I have noticed that and I really really hate it. Graham Norton does it to a degree aswell but not as loud as Dara.

No one has mentioned Jack Dee ??? . Lee Evans is very funny too . Peter Kay's live at the top of the tower was the funniest thing i had ever seen , but live at alberts hall (sp? ) was only ok .

I think Lee Evans is a complete and utter tool. Ooooh, you make funny faces and fall alot.

    Bill Hicks (best by far)
    Billy Connolly (goes without saying)
David Cross (why has no-one mentioned him yet?)
Tommy Tiernan (best irish comedian at the moment)
    Dennis Miller

Denis Leary is a Bill Hicks wannabe. Deirdre O'Kane is NOT FUNNY.
