Here are some details -- any help much appreciated.

you need to use the ISP access point isp.vodfone.ie rather than the WAP(Live!) access point for the web browser and email client, however this isn't available to ReadyToGo customers (any time I've asked) only on contract/post-pay

don't think the built-in browser supports WAP, not 100% so you'd need to check that out ... if so you should be able to use the WAP(Live!) access point, but you need to enter in the WAP Gateway details also

if not perhaps a 3rd party WAP browser is available that you could get for it (maybe check if jBrowser for PalmOS is suitable)?

also assuming the GPRS update has been applied to your unit (initially they were released without GPRS support which was added later with an software update), re: Treo 180 UK Downloads

you could try a regular Dial-Up (CSD) connection but it would be slow (likely only 9.6 kbps) and you are billed per second, but it's to an 087 number so at least it's on network

thanks brian, no luck with GPRS but at least now i can get dial up which is good enough for me. 353 prefix was a problem though just had to replace it with 0. :)
