Saturn emulation

Just inquiring as to yer thoughts on Saturn emulators...

I've only come across a few like Saturnin and Satourne - has anyone tried them out? Recommendations?

There was one released called giri giri a japanese one if I'm not mistaken,
Quite hard to get a hold of.
That I'm told has the best compatability.
I haven't got any actual saturn games to test to to tell you any more.

Giri Giri is the best saturn emulator. However it is hard to find since it has gone commercial and most of the older free versions have been taken off the net. It's quite a hard emulator to get running even if you get a programme that gets past the problem of it being in japanese only. It's a real system hog and the comnpatability isn't great although its the best of all the emulators. Good luck. Its worth getting working for Radiant Silvergun alone and theres other great games for the saturn that got ignored or never made it out of japan/america.

I think it was originally commercial but it was cracked or just released due to never being competed. Conflicting reports and all that.
Giri Giri Gav(?) is the best available. It's not that hard to find if you Google it. I have no idea if there have been any developments in the Saturn scene cus haven't been into it for a while.

A few people were playing around with setting in the Giri Giri ini file and were getting better compatibility and adding new games. They seemed to have some success but I never fooled around with it too much.
Had Shining Wisdom running for a while but I got sick of the speed, or lack of it i should say.

Whats the speed like? it runs very slow for me with xp3000/radeon9700pro setup. Know any tweaks?

only a small bit of slowdown sometimes here Spoonman with my 9800pro and athlon643200, sorry i dont have any tweeks

just on the topic of saturn goodies, anyone know if someone release something that would translate episodes 2 and 3 of shining force 3 (if you ran it through giri giri)


cause its a pain (wishing to...)have episode 1 which is only a 3rd of the entire story and the rest is in japo....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH




p.s pain...cant get panzer dragoon saga for less then 100 man that game is impossible to find...



p.p.s Any of you have or know where i can get a replacement scart cable for a saturn (i know wrong forum but just added it here at bottom.)

Theres no translated versions of shining force eps. 2 + 3.

There might be translated scripts of the game on www.gamefaqs.com or floating around the net.

I desperately want to play the 3 shining force games dragon force and panzer dragoon saga.
