i'm currently working but looking for a change.

the interviews i've been to recently if they got a copy of my cv from an agency i don't generally bring one.

should you be bringing one anyway?

Every interview I've ever been to (there has been a lot of them), the company has always had a copy of my CV.

Bring one (or two) if it'll make you feel more comfortable, but IMO there's no need.

    depends on the job
if youre gong for a desktop support job or something dont bother.

however, the higher up the food chain you go, then yes, id say definately, yes, bring a CV.

in fact, while youre at it, bring along an agenda and a business plan if you need to.
it will show preperation, presentation and professionalism.

if they dont want to use them, then no harm done. worse case senario is your image will be enhanced.

    ditto what wwm said

Also, if it's a reasonably professional mid-level (or higher) job, it doesn't hurt to bring a pad with you as well. They will usually ask you if you have any questions for them at the end of the interview, and if you've researched the company, or have thought of some questions about job duties, etc. a pad is a great place to keep those and to jot down notes.
