Last bill I received from Eircom had the usual 54.45 monthly charge. Was expecting it to drop to 40. Am I now on some other package?

Do I need to contact them? Any point in doing it now or should I wait til my next bill?

A phone call never hurt, even eircom. It will only take a few minutes but could save you €14.

You have to request to be downgraded to home starter otherwise they will automatically upgrade you to home starter plus and keep charging you €54/month. You can request the downgrade on the eircom website or else by phoning them.

Cheers, just sorted it out (hopefully anyway) online

Nice of them to upgrade me, that'll teach me to take things for granted
