I thought it was ok, she looked stupid running everywhere and it seemed a little too like Early edition, but i'll keep watching (if only for Eliza Dushku;))

That's what the premise of the show reminded me of anyway, and I loved Early Edition so...I'm hardly complaining.

I thought it was pretty terrible but I'll keep watching it for The Dush. It was awfully predictable. And I think Sky cut a bit near the end where her sister is in the toilet. In the unaired pilot I'm pretty sure you saw her snort some cocaine.

The pilot sucked a** but Iv been reading alot about it in sci-fi mag SFX. and apparently there were a few reshoots but basicly what was aired was the first cut that was shown to producers and that. also the directer has been replaced and only did first ep. after they saw all the stupid looking running scences he'd edited together he got the push. In an interview in SFX Eliza said she felt like a right muppet when she saw the final cut and that people were screaming at the screen for her to a get a cab or some rollerblades, in the screening of it.

Anyway I am holding out hope cause SFX have been reviewing forthcoming eps and apparently it gets much better

I wouldn't mind seeing a few more running scenes like the one at the beginning when she was trying to get to her graduation :D

Seemed like Early Edition without the things that make that show good.

Did not like the first episode, but if as you say it was a once-off blip I might check out the second episode.

Is it me, or does the premise sound astonishingly like the story of a certain orange haired German lady...?

I agree 100%. it reminded me of Early Edition ALOT. only it was a woman instead of a man. and what was with the running every 5 minutes? ever hear of a bus,or a taxi??
I did enjoy it and i will watch it next week.( only for Eliza Dushku)

I don't think the idea of the show is similar to it but the director had definitely seen Run Lola Run way too many times.

I saw it and felt that it was a load of excrement. Given the reviews it's gotten on televisionwithoutpity, it doesn't get any better and quite possibly worse...

yeah wow do I take back I what said before! I must have been in a really good mood or something cause upcoming reviews have said it countinues to be mindless plup. mind you it didnt say anything about eliza's cup size decreasing throughout the series so if your a guy and your watching just for her, you could do worse. I'd say its gonna get very axed though. we should really start a pool and try and make some money while it crashs and burns.

So, what's the general impression of the show so far? Caught last night's episode and it wasn't half as bad as I was expecting. Eliza looked gorgeous (as usual) and it entertained me for the hour. I felt the plotting and writing was incredibly lazy but it did the job... just. And Eliza looked gorgeous.

I must say I have enjoyed this show so far. I used to like Early Edition and this is very much along those lines. The storys keep you gripped with plenty of suprising and interesting twists in them. The cast are also quite good looking which helps particulurly the lead actress whose name I cannot spell or pronounce.:)

I heard nothing but negative reports about 'Tru Calling' before it started on Sky.
It's not the worst thing I've seen on TV, but it's still a very very terrible show with awful scripts and rubbish acting.
I might be tempted to tune in towards the end of the season when something approaching a decent storyline is introduced, but until then I'm not gonna bother with the show.
Gee, mom's dead, I just wish *somehow* I could go back in time and save her... Pity the entire Davies clan of losers didn't die along with the mother.
