    i'll get the ball rolling.

liked that episode, not much happened, the alien seeme more of a sub plot then anything however thought the character development was good, episode was humourous found myself lol in some situations

trip, t'pol relationship is interesting and enjoyed all the sparring and the resentment between hayes and malcolm

    good stuff

What was the last sentance or two from the alien before it ended?

The phone seems to ring at the most inopportune times..

    Good ep btw..

hmm something along the lines of my species exists coz the xindii destroyed earth iirc

I think it was more something about how his species would benefit from the destruction of earth.... or something. Yeah.

Good to see the Hayes and Malcolm thing finally come to a head (loved the speech Archer gave them, very Kirk-esque), as well as the Trip and T'Pol thing. (When it comes right down to it, she's a raunchy little thing, isn't she? ;))

Not sure where Archer's whole 'bending of ethics' thing is going to go - if they're going to deal with it and make a point about the ends not always justifying the means and that's why they'll need to have the Prime Directive and other guidelines and a code of behaviour and all that, or whether they're going to take the line that the ends do justify the means because, y'know, they're saving Earth. Apparently.

this episode reeked of desperation, like the writers just sat down and said right, this story actually has nothing to do with anything but what can we put in here to keep the viewers from switching over

Oh i know well piss on everything that has gone before and well do a cheap tits and ass episode and well have T'POL get her keks off, that should do it

Now done get me wrong t'pol geting her keks off is more than alright with me, but is it just shows how poor enterprise has become when they have to rely on naked flesh to get ratings

Im sorry but im afraid that enterprise needs to be cancelled immediately before it drags Star treks good name down the toilet any further then it has already

actually one thing i meant to point out that i didn't like but forgot was the flashback at the start i thought it was unnecessary and something that might just have been used to take up a minute or two of screen time

with regards to pissing on everything thats gone before i don't think that argument holds sway, there is precedent in star trek for arcs to be interupted with stories that are just unrelated, take me out to the holosuite jumps to mind straight away,

it was a good character episode with dialog i thought realistic particurlarly reeds taking the piss out of tucker about the neuro pressure, no big special FX filled phaser blasting bonanza i for one which enjoyed

I enjoyed the episode. Nice character building for most of the main cast. One for the eople who say Enterprise doesn't develop it's characters to watch methinx. Then again, Mayweather is slapped around & then ignored as usual hehe.

I did find the naked T'Pol a little desperate, just put in for the sake of promos/ratings. In saying that, I really liked the interaction between Trip & T'Pol. I kinda wish that the other girl Trip was giving neuropressure to had actually been developed since the start of the season, and was more than a plot device thrown in just to get T'Pol jealous!

The strange formation in the Expanse & the new alien added a few more brush strokes to the overall picture in a nicely non-FX battle-filled kinda way.
The ending was nice & abrupt. 7/10

It was hardly a standalone episode that had nothing to do with the overall arc. Enterprise is en route to Azati Prime, the journey takes time.
The crew engage in extra combat training for the battle when they get to the weapon facility.
They find a strange formation in the Expanse that has something to do with the Spheres.
The new alien they find is involved with the Xindi & knows about the attack on Earth.

    Unconnected? I think not.

tbh moriarty i didn't see any spoilers in that post, at worst a little speculation in the last line about the relationship between the alien and the xindi
