Fishing on the Arainn Islands..

    If any one here is interested in a local fishing holiday....ie...somewhere in ireland........go to either Inis Mean or Inis Mor in the Arainn Islands for some brilliant fishing there..

    ive gone there a few times and especially on inis Mean...you can catch a good selection of species almost year round apart from the ol mackeral since they come in...in August
    The Pier at Inis Mean is always clean and theres never anyone at it......i wouldnt be over-exaggerating if i said you simply throw in your bait and your already hooked....in a week that i was there last time.....i caught inbetween......120-135 fish....in that one week!!!........i fished every day and loved it..!.....i caught a lovely 7lbs Sea Bass....right off the pier on some crab and ragworm...

    its totally breathtaking......the scenary....everything.....the waters there look so tropical......
    i Dont know much info on the Beach Fishing there......but close to shore...ie..the pier is definantly worth the trip over.....if anyone has anything to ask....fire away :)
