    Why:
    Number 1 is too plain.
    Number 3 is not bad.
    Number 4 has too much colour (not easy on the eye).
    Numbers 6 and 7 are too busy.

    Unless you're on too much acid your #1 logo concern is legibility.... which means the last two are pretty out. I went for #2 as it was a sharp clean image without being dull.
