Hanging/Sticking

I recently got a large print out of a painting done for my bedroom. But when I hung it with blue tack (as I do with everything else) the tack wasn't strong enough and it fell down.

Can anyone suggest an alternate way of hanging it on the wall? I'd rather not have anything showing eg. wall tacks etc...

you could get a large light weight frame made for it... seen as you got the print made for your room it sort of seems like the next step....

i dunno .. maybe if you got a large sheet of cardboard the same size as the print and a sheet of clear plastic the same size you could clip and hang that.

You can buy thiese things in some shops that are for sticking up posters. They're little white tabs with sticky stuff on both size. They work really well, I've hung up huge movei posters on them and they've never fallen down. Take a look in roches/woodies type places and you'll probably find them.

If you are getting a frame you could try some velcro-brand stick on squares (don't know where to get them, I stole em from college :/).

They won't come off the backing of the painting without damaging it so the frame is a must and will tear any wallpaper off too, so only use with a painted wall!

Each square is ment to hold 850g so one in every corner would do fine for a framed picture with the weight of glass etc. Maybe a fex extra for safety ...
