    We are looking to hire a new junior type. On a personal note, this could be a really good opportunity for someone stuck on a soul-destroying helpdesk currently, but who has been upskilling themselves at home.     Company background:

    Hosting365.ie is dedicated to providing the highest levels of quality and
    service in the high specialized area of Internet hosting. We provide a
    full range of services from shared hosting to dedicated servers and
    enterprise solutions. We have been providing hosting services in Ireland
    since 1997, and host more Irish websites than anyone else.

    Position available:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-line
    technical support for all of Hosting365's customers via phone and email.
    Answerable to the technical operations manager, they will be required to
    answer queries related to domain names, FTP, HSphere (our shared hosting
    management software) and customer accounts and passwords. Some shift work
    may be necessary from time to time.

    Skills required:

    * Excellent phone manner, good people skills and the ability to work well
    in a high-pressure environment
    * Excellent Windows2000/XP (as a desktop and server user) and
    Linux/BSD skills would be expected
    * Working knowledge of HTML/ASP/PHP/Perl/SQL/.NET/Javascript
    * Exposure to MSSQL/MySQL/Apache/IIS beneficial
    * Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP in particular
    * Good knowledge and experience of internet technologies

    Salary:
    20-22k, depending on experience

    Hours:
    40 hours a week
