I have one in a "hi Fi" in attic.

    It works

Also I have a bare deck that needs electronics.

    About 3 tapes.

    What you want it for?

I could be persuaded to part with the complete system (It has turntable, Cassette, 8 Track and AM/FM Radio + Stereo amp. ).

    P.M. me it you interested.

Wow & Flutter and lack of Fast Forward / Rewind killed the format very quick when Car Cassettes came out. It survived longer on US (where it originated as Lear Jet Audio).

The unit I have is actually American, with PSU internally changed to 220V from original 110V, and importantly the record player syncronous motor changed from 60Hz model (110v) to 50Hz (220V) or even with a transformer the records would all be slow by 5/6ths
