Testing/QA Team Leader Position Available

    Guys,

    There is a job going in the place where I work. Its a small company, approx 50
    employees and based just off Merrion Sq in Dublin..


    Job Specs:

    Reporting to the QA Manager, the day to day work involves preparing test plans,
    designs, specifications and reports. The successful candidate will be familiar with
    traditional testing methodologies, and be enthusiastic and motivated.

    Main duties/responsibilities:

    * Supervise a team of 3+ test engineers.
    * Ensure all QA methodologies are followed and produce appropriate documentation.
    * Work in consultation with the QA Manager and report on progress, project issues and team performance in accordance with agreed project.
    * Planning and execution of Test Cases.
    * Investigation and analysis of problems found during testing.
    * Defect tracking and resolution.
    * Prepare test plans, specifications and reports.
    * Identify training needs and resource shortfalls.


    Qualifications/Skills Required:

    * Good knowledge of Windows (2000/NT/XP), minimum of 2 years in a testing role within a software company.
    * Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices and/or testing methodologies.
    * Ability to design effective plans/test cases.
    * Experience with Automated Test Tools an advantage (e.g. WinRunner, Robot)
    * Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal).
    * Ability to communicate effectively within team both within QA and Development departments.
    * Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Team Leader
    * Experience testing on web applications is essential
    * Experience using MS Project an advantage
