Just wondering how big the Death Star Mk.2 is in metres as a super star destroyer measures in at 12.3km and is tiny compared to it im imaging its in the megametres.

Of the top of my head I seem to remember that Super Star Destroyers are 8.something Km's long, and the diameter of the second Death Star was something round the 160km mark. Will check round for verification, and update.

    After some quick googling:

Super Class Star Destroyer: 12,800 metres (What's this in km?)
    Death Star: 120km
Death Star Mk2: 160km (Yet again the fount of useless knowledge in my head proves itself :D )

There was also an Eclipse and Soveign Class Star Destroyer, more info on them Here

SSD is 8 km, possibly 9 km

I thoughyt both the death stars where same size no info is given on them in the movies as far as i can remember so any infirmation u got from books dosent count because its non-cannon

The Super Star Destroyers were 12.8 KM long (12,800 metres), not 8km

The debate over the 8km figure has been raging for ages. Go to theforce.net, and their technical commentaries for the full story.

It has been proposed that the Executor (the SSD in The Empire Strikes Back) was a 12.8km long ship as it was not built by Kuat Drive Yards, the original designers of the SSD, but by the Fondor Shipyards. However, since we can only take what is seen in the movies as canon, we are forced to assume that all SSD's are in fact 12.8km long, not the 8km mentioned in the Expanded Universe sources.

User45701, if you go to Star Wars Official Site you'll see it lists the diameter of the Death Star I posted as being the official canon ones. This Official Page also lists the official Star Wars site's stance on the diameter of the Second Death Star.

I've got a huge comparison chart on my HD which makes comparisons between Trek, StarWars and Babylon5 ships. It states that the Executor Class is 17484 metres (17,5 km) in total length. On the attachment it says 12.8 km. So what's the "true" figure ;) ?

the 17.5KM ship is the Eclipse Class Super Star Destroyer, seen only in the Dark Empire comic series. There is another SSD, the Soveriegn class, thats around the 15km size
