    Optowrite are a Taiwanese company.
    Primarily use Samsung drives and have a good reputation.

    i got one off ebay at xmas for 75 pounds and it's worked flawlessly. even does the HD burn thing, so you can backup 1.4gb onto a normal CDR. handy for backups, and ultra HQ divx's.
