from what i make of the specs of that motherboard, it wont accept PC3200 and like |3rian said, thats the standard these days, especially if your going to overclock.

    XP 2800+ (I have it cloked to 3200+) - 110 from komplett
    Motherboard (Abit NF7 2) - 100 from komplett
40GB HDD (Western Digital) - 60 from Komplett
CDRW (Philips) - 35 from Komplett
    RAM (TwinMos CL2.5 512mb DDR PC3200) - 100 from Komplett
CASE (Antect Lan Boy & 350WPSU) - 100 from Elara
    495

The PC ur looking at is 366 after vat, but the Barebones above has much better components, especially if you want to overclock. You could cut down cost even further by getting a cheaper case, cheaper RAM and motherboard, but these components are or near the best in their class. The case is nice. the components in that pc arent great.

That motherboard only supports 4x AGP too, new cards are 8x i think.

Nforce2 Chipset, 7200RPM HDD, Better CPU, Better RAM and 3 times more, nice case :)

that mainboard will support up to pc2700 memory, it doesnt support pc3200, i dont think it would be possible to mix pc2100 and pc2700 memory modules at a later date, you will need to read the mainboard manual

the speed difference wont be huge really, you know that pc2100 ram runs at 266mhz and pc2700 ram runs at 333mhz

how much do you have to spend and what do you want the pc to do?

i'd recommend a mobile xp 2500+ chip from www.overclockers.co.uk, i think they run at 1.45v and they are multi unlocked so chances are it will overclock well and it should be cheaper then the xp3000+

with regards to motherboards the best athlon xp motherboards run on the nforce 2 chip set, so look at the offerings from either abit thats the nf7 range and AN7 or from asus i thin its the A7N8X range or something these are the way forward

for overclocking you'll hope to hit at least 200mhz fort the front side bus so for this you'll need pc3200 ram which runs at 200mhz, pc2700 ram runs at 166mhz and pc2100 at 133mhz if i have those frequencies correct.

with regards to cooling for around that price go with the coolermaster aero lite i think its cooled its about 22euro on komplett and you'll see it, it has quite a non-conventional design

q-tec power supply units have a bad name and i won't recommend them for overclocking, a low wattage power supply from a good manufactuere such as antec is better then a high wattage power supply form a crap manufactuer, so perhaps a case with a power supply from the antec range would be something to look at, check out the sonata or the lanboy

seagate make good hard drives but something with an 8mb cache would be nicer to speed things up

that radeon graphics card will be qutie a way behind for the latest games, if you have the cash go with something like a radeon 9600 pro.

i've probably shot over your budget :) but compromises can be made good luck
