anyone seen this on C4. Hosted by Lisa Tarbuck. Basically 5 people start off and 1 by 1 they are eliminated by a panel. Winner gets 20k. 1st round is especially good as they vote someone off based just on first impressions. Wish RTE would do something like this.Ok, they couldn't afford 20k but it would be cheap TV to make I think.

Used to watch it when it was on Sundays last year. It's actually quite interesting.

Yes, this can be quite interesting - definitely one of those program where you find yourself screaming at some of the desicions (or maybe it's just me!)

i think it's hilarious when the panel get things horribly wrong, like when they eliminate some "arty farty" person who wants to spend the money on housing ecuadorian orphans, and then they find out that the sweet little old lady is actually a member of the national front........ heh heh....oh, poor deluded souls.....

It's well worth watching, though given the crappy scheduling (against Top of the Pops & Coronation Street), I'm sure most people won't even know its on. Apparently, C4 were contractually obliged to do the second series, even though the first series had poor ratings...

The focus is really on the panel rather than the contestants - amazing how narrow minded some of them are. I imagine the panelists are chosen specifically to be at odds with each other.

(Interesting twist last week - the winner from the previous week came back on as a panel member. They also voted off someone on the basis that they were happily settled and didn't have any obvious money needs, only to find out that the money would have been used for a life-saving operation...)
