Strange pop-up

Over the last couple of days, I have been getting a pop-up asking me to download something and it's from a place called run.gibnetmaster.com. The strange thing about it is that I installed the google toolbar last week, so this has been practically the only pop-up I've been getting.

I tried to open gibnetmaster.com but it won't open (although the title at the top of the page says something about e-bay) I searched for the term in google and the only relevant mention that came up was at this page - http://www.computercops.biz/postt24290.html
I don't understand computer speak all that much so I don't know what that page means.

Anyway, just now somebody posted a link in After Hours to http://www.google.com/options/index.html When I opened that link it brought me to first to a 404 page at what I presume is a porn site (freematuresex or something like that) and then instantaneously brought me to http://run.gibnetmaster.com/download/index.html and when I typed the google address above into my browser, same thing happened.
Anyone have any ideas what this is? Is it something to do with the google toolbar? I've been hearing bad things about it recently, and the fact that this pops up when I try to go to a google site is strange.

You could simply have some spyware. Go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com and download ad-aware. Also do a search for "spy bot search and destroy".
