Outlook junk mail

    Does anyone know how to turn on junk mail in outlook without needing to have a microsoft exchange server ?

    You have to write the rules for the built in junk filter as such it is not that effective.

    for Outlook 2000/XP/2003 only

    This comes with a pretty good set of rules to begin with and you can teach it what you don't like receiving by simply pointing it at a folder full of junk. - as you click on the toolbar buttons to recover from junk / delete as junk it gets fine tuned.

    Other ways are to get an SMTP program to come between your emails server and whichever program you use be it outlook 97/98 or Express etc..
